Historically used by villagers for ritual baths and known for its healing properties, it became popular among hippies in the 1970s. Formed naturally from underground freshwater springs emerging through the hillside, the lake is nestled between a dense forested slope and a sandy beach, giving it a rare geographic uniqueness — a freshwater lake just meters from the Arabian Sea.
